A Rogue is probably the most interesting gameplay in World of Warcraft. In most cases, I would prefer a 3 sec stun over a critical strike or an extra swing because a stun can lessen the damage done to you, prevent spells, and give you time to run if you need to. In fact, the only thing bad about a stun is in end game PvE, because most bosses are immune to stuns.
